Toosey Old School Group of Companies is owned and operated by the Toosey First Nation (also known as Tsilhqot'in People at Tl'esqox).

The Group of Companies operates out of the Riske Creek Elementary School, previously closed in 2006, but then acquired by Toosey First Nation and renovated into a multi-use facility for business operations and training. The companies consist of:

  • Toosey Old School Wood Products
  • Toosey Old School Training Centre
  • Toosey Old School Construction

Toosey Old School embraces a "forest-to-frame" concept utilizing locally sourced wood from the Tsilhqot'in traditional territory to produce secondary value-added wood products. Local First Nation citizens are employed in all stages of the process, from harvesting, to milling, to construction.
